How minimum order quantity works

By Raian Mehrak Noor, 24 October 2026

The minimum order quantity, or MOQ, is the smallest order a supplier will make. Here is how it works at MonsiTrade and what you can do if you need fewer pieces.

What is the MOQ at MonsiTrade?

Orders start at about 100 pieces and go up to 100,000. The exact minimum depends on the material and how much customization you need, so tell us the number you have in mind and we tell you if it works.

Why suppliers set a minimum

Every order has fixed costs before the first piece is made: buying fabric and trims, setting up the cutting and sewing, and checking quality. A minimum makes sure those costs are spread over enough pieces to keep the price per piece sensible.

What changes the minimum

Custom fabric blends, special colours and your own trims usually need larger quantities, because the materials are bought or made for your order. Standard materials and simpler designs can start lower.

Ordering small

If you are a new brand, start with one style in a few sizes, check the sample at no extra cost, and grow the order once the first batch sells. Ask us which options keep your first order small.
